Okay, I think this is all the new stuff I have for this weekend (release party at Bergen St Comics and BCGF).

Up top we have my new issue of Snake Oil published by Space Face Books. This is number 8 and tells the story of a guy who played a C-3P0 type character in a big sci-fi movie like Star Wars. It’s told in a sort of Wilson kind of way. Where each scene is only one page long. The difference being that I jump around in time with my story.

Then I have a print there for TEOTFW. It’s of James and Alyssa in full penciled color. I even got some fancy plastic to put them in.

Then we have 6 new Oily books. Most of these are advance printings and will be coming out in the coming months. Sorry for the tease subscribers but you will get these eventually. I wanted to have these printed for the artists that will be in attendance.

Okay starting at the top, left we have Gnomes by Sam Gaskin. This is a small collection of funny strips about gnomes. Sam is a funny and talented man. Sam has tons of cool comics published by our friends at Secret Acres.

Next we have Aaron Cockle’s Word and Voice #3. This is his best issue yet in my opinion. Really good cartooning in here. Aaron will also have a new issue of his series Annotated at the show.

Then another new Oiler, Scott Longo. The Virgin is a beautiful work. Scott is making some of my favorite new comics. His stuff really hits strange notes that I don’t see hit very often. Fucking unique.

Then we have Real Rap #1 by Ben Urkowitz. This is a collection of strip about a fat bird guy who is sick of redundancy in rap music and decides to make some REAL RAP. You have to see this guy’s drawings. You will probably fall in love.

Then Lou #8 by Melissa Mendes. All silent issue. Enchanting. Melissa does kids like no one. She continues to amaze me.

And finally we have the return of fan-favorite Andy Burkholder. This time he brings us Foreground. This comic had to be completely re-drawn after the original pages were taken by a back-pack thief. Can’t blame him. I would have stolen them too.
